Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd

is a welcoming faith community serving in downtown Reno, Nevada since 1947.  We are a congregation of the Sierra Pacific Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and a Reconciling in Christ Congregation.

All public worship is suspended until further notice due to COVID-19.  Please join us for our video worship available on our YouTube Channel.  You can view worship for September 20 here.  Links to our previous videos are available here.

Eddy House Meals signups for September are here.

Our website is currently being rebuilt!  Please check back frequently for more information.

Currently, In light of guidance from public health and governmental officials regarding the spread of the COVID-19 virus and the directive to keep social distance and minimize germ transmission, we are not holding public worship. We are mindful of  the risks of worshiping in confined places, particularly for those who are over age 65 or who have a compromising health condition or other vulnerability. We are not worshiping in-person, but the church is not closed!  Read more from Pr. Scott Trevithick.

Please join us for video worship on our YouTube Channel or find links to each worship video on our worship page.
